Selous Classic Safari

You will have early breakfast and start your morning game drive where you will spot Tanzania’s largest population of elephant as well numbers of lion, leopard, African hunting dog, buffalo and hippo. Species commonly seen are bushbuck, red and blue duikers, eland, hartebeest, hyena, klipspringer, impala, giraffe, Oryx, reedbuck, waterbuck and zebra. In the evening you will drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay for night.

You will have your breakfast early in the morning and start your morning game drive in the park. Although a large area has been (unfortunately) set aside for hunting, there is still a lot to enjoy and wildlife to witness. In the evening you will go for boat safari in Rufiji River its perfect activity to do that always you to come close to this water animals. The Rufiji River is teeming with hippo and crocodile, and the birdlife is fantastic. Lion sightings are very common as the opportunistic creatures tend to laze around the lakes waiting for animals coming to drink. One of the attractions of the park is the chance to encounter wild dog.

You will have early breakfast and start your morning with walking safari which is perfect activity to experience African bush in close-up for 2 hours. After Walking Safari, you will go for game drive and later on exit the reserve and start driving back to Dar es Salaam where you will be dropped at the Airport or Hotel.
